As Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) enters its 4th decade, it is in a unique position. As a community- based dance presenting organization with a 30-plus year history, THPAC has become a viable institution for communities which have traditionally celebrated and reflected on their social and cultural issues through the rituals of music, dance, and performance.

THPAC, with over 30 years of experience, recommits itself to bringing the highest most innovative, cutting edge performances to our audiences. We renew our pledge to the communities of Brooklyn and New York City at large, to keep pace with the cultural aspirations of the underserved population segments to which we tailor our programming.

Lastly, as our most ambitious and visionary goal, we propose to increase the efficiency of the organization's operations and its accessibility to the community. To this end, THPAC will vigorously pursue the goals of a affordable multi-purpose performance, office, and rehearsal space within the downtown Brooklyn area either independently or in partnership with others who have similar goals.

All of these undertakings present formidable challenges, but with a clear mission, purpose and a sharp eye on the communities we serve, we will succeed.
