Located in the Triangle Theater of Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn, the THPAC's season runs from late May through the end of June. THPAC has a reach of over 14,000 people through its yearly mailer, email, and physical audience..

In 2000, we at the Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) distributed a questionnaire at each of  our performances. The  figures below have been gathered from audience response to those questionnaires.  The composition of THPAC's audiences reflects the location of the venues.

In Brooklyn, 70 percent of THPAC's patrons are People of color, by which we mean people of African descent in North and South America, the Caribbean and Africa; 20 percent are Americans of European descent; and ten percent are Hispanic.

In Manhattan, 70 percent are African Americans; 20 percent are Americans of European descent; and ten percent are Hispanic.

Our audiences come to us from a number of neighborhoods and regions: the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, East New York, Brownsville, Red Hook, Bedford Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Park Slope; the other metropolitan boroughs; and the tri-state area.

60 percent of Thelma Hill's audiences are female; 20 percent are single parents; The average age range is between 25 and 65, and the average income ranges between  20- and 8,000
